Lockheed Elementary School (NGAUA Meetings)
From Downtown Atlanta: Take I-75 [I-85] (North). At I-75 Exit 265, turn (R) onto SR-120 Loop [N Marietta Pky NE] (East). (L) (North) onto Wallace Rd NE. Go straight, cross Barnes Mill Rd at light. This becomes Merritt Road. The school is on your (R). Address: 1205 Merritt Road Marietta, GA 30062.
Emory Math and Science Building
I-85 to the Clairmont Road exit. East onto Clairmont Road to North Decatur Road. Turn (R) onto North Decatur Road. Go through 4 traffic lights. At the 5th traffic light you will be at a 5-way intersection. Turn hard (R) onto Dowman Drive and you will enter Emory’s main gate. (New for 2009: The Visiting parking lot behind the B. Jones and Math & Science Center Buildings has been CLOSED. Continue past the Math & Science building to the visitor parking deck.)Holiday Inn - Virginia Ave.
I-85 S /I-75 S. Continue on I-85 S. Take Virginia Ave Exit and go Southwest. Turn (R) on Virginia Ave and go West for 600 to hotel. Address: Holiday Inn: Atlanta-Airport – North, 1380 Virginia Ave., ATLANTA, GA 30344. 1-404-7628411.Adams Park
Highway 41 North to 'Old 41'. (R) on 'Old 41' through Kennesaw to "Park Street." (L) on "Park Street" this dead ends into park.Al Bishop
I75 to South 120 Loop. Go West on 120 Loop crossing over Highway 41 to Powder Springs Road. (L) on Powder Springs Road to County Services Road. (L) on County Services Road to Al Bishop Drive. (R) on Al Bishop Drive and park will be on (R). Bells Ferry
Highway 41 North to "Bells Ferry Road" (R) on "Bells Ferry Road". Park is on Right Approximately 2 Miles.
I75 North to I575. Take 1st exit to Barrett Parkway. (R) on Barrett Parkway to "Bells Ferry Road." (R) on Bells Ferry. Park is 300 yards on (L).
Blackburn Church
Take I285 to Ashford Dunwoody Road exit. South on Ashford Dunwoody and look for Marist High School on (R). Park is approximately 1 mile on (L) past Marist.
Dellinger Park (Cartersville)
From Atlanta- take I-75 North to Exit 288 - turn left, follow street into Cartersville, cross Hwy 41 staying on Main Street through downtown (2.7mi). Veer left at your first fork on Etowah Drive (toward Rockmart). At the next light, go straight on Etowah Drive, following signs for Etowah Indian Mounds (1.3 mi). Veer right onto Pine Grove Rd. Dellinger Park is on left.
Dobbins Air Force Base
Take US41S to Dobbins Air Force Base on (R) just past Delk Road. You will need to be IN UNIFORM and have a Photo ID (Drivers license) ready at the guard shack.
Take South Cobb Drive towards I75. South Cobb Drive becomes Delk Road. Take the US41 South exit and base will be on (R). You will need to be IN UNIFORM and have a Photo ID (Drivers license) ready at the guard shack.
East Cobb Complex
I-75 To Exit 267. Canton Rd (Rt 5) Connector East. Follow to Canton Rd. Go North to Jamerson Rd and Turn Right. Go over the RailRoad Tracks. Make a right onto Lee Waters Rd. Park will be on your right.
I-75 to I-575 to Rt 92 West (Exit 7). Turn Right onto Ga 754 (Canton Rd). Turn Left On Jamerson Rd. Go over the RailRoad Tracks. Make a right onto Lee Waters Rd. Park will be on your right.
East Roswell Park
Take Highway 400 North to Holcomb Bridge Road (exit 7A) going East towards Norcoss. Take Holcomb Bridge Road to Fouts Road. (R) onto Fouts Road and park will be on (R).
Fair Oaks
Powder Springs Road to Bellmeade Drive. Turn South on Bellmeade Drive. Go through 2 stop signs and turn (L) at 3rd stop sign. This will go directly to the park approximately 1/2 mile.
Hobgood
I75 North to I575 North. Exit Bells Ferry Road. Keep (L) at the fork in the exit ramp. Turn (L) on Bells Ferry Road. Bear (L) on Bells Ferry Highway. Bear (L) on GA-205. Park is on (R).
I-75; W on Delk Road (Becomes South Cobb Dr), Stay on South Cobb until Austell Road; Left (L) on Floyd Road, LEFT (L) On Hurt Road; Left into Park.
Kenney Askew Park
Take I-575 North to exit 14 - Highway 5. Turn (L). (R) onto Univeter Road. The park is on the (R) just past the I-575 overpass.
Kenworth
Highway 41 North to "Old 41". (R) on "Old 41" through Kennesaw, past Adams Park, past North Cobb H.S. The park is on (R) approximately 1/2 mile past H.S.
I75 to "Chastain Road" exit. (L) off exit ramp onto "Chastain Road" to "Old 41". (R) on "Old 41" and follow above.
Lockheed
Highway 41 to Delk Road. Go West on Delk Road to Avation Road. Turn (L) from Avation Road into the Lockheed plant. The (2) fields will be on (L).
Lost Mountain/West Cobb Youth Park
Take Dallas Highway (Route 120) West. Park will be on (L) approximately 8 miles from Marietta.
McEachern Church
Highway 41 to Powder Springs Road. West on Powder Springs. Go (R) on Macland Road for approximately 4 miles. Fields are on (L) just before intersection with Lost Mountain Road.
South on Mars Hill Road. At the intersection with Dallas Highway (Highway 120) Mars Hill becomes Lost Mountain Road. Continue on Lost Mountain Road to Macland Road. Turn (L) on Macland Road. Fields will be on (R) approximately 200 yards.
Mt. Vernon Baptist Church
I 75 south to I 285 East. Go East (toward Greenville) on I 285 to 1st
exit...Northside Drive/Powers Ferry exit. Turn right (South) on Northside
Drive and go 0.6 miles to MT. Vernon Highway. Turn left on MT. Vernon Hwy.
and go 1 mile. Church will be on the right.
Take second entrance on the left side of the building.
Nickajack
Highway 41 to Delk Road. West on Delk Road which turns into South Cobb Drive. Continue on South Cobb to Highlands Parkway, just before the I285 interchange. (R) on Highlands, go 1 block and turn (L) on Oakdale Road. Follow Oakdale across bridge, past a white church, and turn (R) on Nickajack Park Road. At bottom of hill turn (L) for softball fields.
I285 West to Bankhead Highway. (R) on Bankhead to light at Oakdale Road. (R) on Oakdale Road. Park is approximately 1 ½ miles on (L) (small sign). At bottom of hill turn (L) for softball fields.
Northside Baptist Church
I 75 south to West Paces Ferry/Northside Pkwy exit. Left on West Paces Ferry
under the I 75 overpass...go 100 yards to Northside Parkway. Turn Right on
Northside Parkway and go 1.4 miles...Northside Baptist Church is on the
left. Field is on the far side of the parking lot to the left.
Paulding Co/Taylor Farms
Dallas Highway to Highway 92. (L) on Highway 92. Follow 92 which crosses over Highway 278, through Hiram, past the "Catfish Den". Go about 1 mile past "Catfish Den" and turn (L) on "Pine Valley Road". Taylor Farms Park will be on (R).
Thornton Road (Highway 278) North to "Brownsville Road". (L) on "Brownsville Road." Follow "Brownsville Road" to "Pine Valley Road". (R) on "Pine Valley Road" park will be on (L).
Sandy Plains
I-75 North to Exit 268A - Hwy 5 Canton/Woodstock. Go 1 mile, (R) at first light onto Sandy Plains Road. Go 5.5 miles and turn (L) on the 2nd Gordy Parkway (the 1st light after Shallowford Road). Park will be on your right.
Sequoyah Park
Take I-575 North to exit 16B - Highway 140 east. Turn (R). Turn (R) onto Hickory Road. Immediately turn (L) onto Vaughn Road. The park is on the left just past the Cherokee Fire and Sheriff station.South Cherokee
I75 North to I575. Take I575 to Townlake Parkway. (R) on Townlake Parkway to Main Street (Approximately 1 mile). (L) on Main Street, cross over railroad tracks, look for park as Main Street bends into a banking left. Park approximately 1/2 mile past South Cherokee government annex on (R).
Sweetwater
Highway 41 or I75 to Delk Road. Go West on Delk Road to Austell Road. (R) on Austell to Clay Road, just past South Cobb H.S. Turn (R) on Clay Road and park is on (L) approximately 1 mile. Softball field on (R).
Terrell Mill
I75 to Delk Road. Exit East onto Delk Road and go past intersection with Powers Ferry Road. At the next intersection, Delk Road turns into Terrell Mill Road. Stay straight through the intersection and park will be on (L) approximately 1 mile, just past Paper Mill Road intersection.
Tolleson
Highway 41 or I75 to Delk Road. West on Delk Road which turns into South Cobb Drive. Continue on South Cobb past intersection of Concord Road. Get into (L) lane and turn (L) at next light on McCauley Road. Park is on (R) approximately 1/ 4 mile.
Twin Creeks
I575 to exit 11, Sixes road. East to highway 5(1/5 mile). Go right on highway
5, travel approx. 2 miles.
Entrance to park is on the left just past Little River bridge.
Waller Park Extension
Highway 41 to Roswell Road (at Big Chicken). Go East at Big Chicken. Continue until the road "T's". Turn (L) on North Atlanta Road. Go 1/4 mile to Oxbo Road. Turn (R) on Oxbo Road, continue for 1 mile. Turn (L) on Dobbs Lane which takes you to the ball field.
