Park/League Rules - print, LEARN, and keep a copy of the park/league rules with you. The parks recurring request is "KNOW THE PARK RULES".
Game Coverage Issues - If you ever get hurt, have an emergency or for ANY reason you have to leave before your games are complete, you must speak with Glenn Stewart via phone (no voicemails). We need to be aware of the situation and guarantee umpire & partner safety and coverage of our contractual commitments.
Concessions - Make sure you do not enter any concession stand..period. If you need something, try going to the side door to see if someone can help you quickly without waiting in line. Make sure you offer to pay for anything you ask for. If they say no charge, make sure you say THANK YOU !! If they ask you to pay.... PAY and say THANK YOU !!
Cellphones - only Glenn Stewart (or alternate assigners) should have a phone on the field. Leave them in your bag or in the car. For timing games, use a TIMER.
Ball Bags - every plate umpire is to wear ball bag(s) on every game.

Uniforms
Uniform should be neat, clean, shirt tucked in, hat worn correctly and clean and/or polished shoes. If plate umpire, ball bag(s) worn on your side.

Our local source is Barry Sullivan who attends several clinic dates for onsite sales. We recommend local sources when possible. Why? sizes change from brand to brand and even batch to batch so physically trying something on has advantages.
